Country and language

The flag button at the right of the menu bar sets your country and your language.

#Country

There are 22 countries, plus Other, shown with their flags, native names and currencies. Your country sets:

• the currency for every price, converted from US dollars at the day's rate. Until the rate loads, prices stay in US dollars,
• the stores linked from the Products page, such as the local Amazon storefront, Mercado Libre, Cookson-CLAL or Cooksongold.

The spot price box takes your local currency, and the job cost rates convert when you change country.

#Language

The app is in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Turkish, Hindi and Thai. Choosing a country offers its language when that translation is ready. Languages still being translated are greyed out.

Numbers and dates follow the language's own style, for example 1.234,5 in German, and Thai dates use the Buddhist year. Product notes, maker data and source titles stay in English for now.
