Job cost and quote

The Job cost tab adds up what a job really costs and prints a quote for your customer.

#Filling it in

The job fills itself from your current setup. Fields that came from the setup are tagged from setup. Fill from setup fills them again after you've changed something, and Clear empties the form.

The cost covers:

• Metal, at the live spot price.
• Investment, and wax or resin for the patterns.
• Kiln energy for the burnout.
• Finishing loss: metal lost to filing and polishing.
• Labour, at your hourly rate.
• Other supplies and your markup.

Empty fields that the quote needs are highlighted and listed, so nothing gets missed.

#Your currency

Prices show in your country's currency, converted from US dollars at the day's rate. Change the country from the flag button in the menu bar. See Country and language.

#Printing a quote

Click Print quote for a quote with the price per piece.
